      <description>The NIZO 2009 abstract submission deadline of 20th February 2009 will now continue to stay open for abstract submissions until Tuesday 24th February 2009. Due to considerable interest we feel it would be beneficial to the NIZO audience to hold open the abstract deadlines for a few more days to allow everyone to submit their abstracts in a timely and convenient manner.       <description>Registration fees for registrations received on or before 29 May 2009: Industry Delegate - €575 + tax @ 19% = €684.25, Author/Academic Delegate* - €460 + tax @ 19% = €547.40, Student** - €300+ tax @ 19% = €357.00. After the 29 May 2009 a late booking fee of 100 euros will be added to the registration fee. Registration fees for registrations received after 29 May 2009: Industry Delegate - €675 + tax @ 19% = €803.25, Author/Academic Delegate* - €560 + tax @ 19% = €666.40, Student** - €400+ tax @ 19% = €476.00. *Academic rate applies to those with a full time position in a non-commercial institute only. ** Student rate applies to those registered for a higher degree. Student registration must be accompanied by a signed letter from your head of department attesting to student status. VAT at the local Netherlands rate of 19% is charged on all registration fees at the conference.       <description>The dinner will be a three course 'safari buffet' taking in all the areas of the zoo - you will have a chance to explore the bush, visit the deep ocean and walk through the safari. The ticket cost includes entrance to the Zoo, a South African Braai, drinks and cocktails, and transportation to and from the venue.
