We are pleased to announce that the programme for the 6th NIZO Dairy Conference is now available to view on the programme page. Please note that changes may occur to the specified programme.
All oral and poster authors who have been accepted to present at this years conference should register online. Failure to do so may result in your presentation being removed from the programme.
If you are a young scientist (student, PhD student or equivalent) and your submitted abstract is accepted for presentation in the poster sessions, six successful applicants will be invited to make a short 10 minute oral presentation during the oral programme. Please register your interest to enter for the award by emailing the NIZO 2009 Conference Secretariat (a.hill@elsevier.com).
The NIZO 2009 abstract submission deadline of 20th February 2009 will now continue to stay open for abstract submissions until Tuesday 24th February 2009. Due to considerable interest we feel it would be beneficial to the NIZO audience to hold open the abstract deadlines for a few more days to allow everyone to submit their abstracts in a timely and convenient manner. The dinner will be a three course 'safari buffet' taking in all the areas of the zoo - you will have a chance to explore the bush, visit the deep ocean and walk through the safari. The ticket cost includes entrance to the Zoo, a South African Braai, drinks and cocktails, and transportation to and from the venue. Tickets are not included in the registration fee and cost 80 euros each (exclusive of 19% tax).
